You may submit a short line of text (roughly one sentence) that begins with “That may be …” and ends with the closing line you choose. Shares must be written in good faith, free of profanity or hate, and must not include personal information about yourself or others (names, contact details, addresses, and the like).
When you submit, your text and chosen ending are stored on our server and displayed publicly alongside other shares. We may remove or refuse content that violates these terms or that we believe does not fit the spirit of the site. We do not guarantee that any share will remain posted indefinitely.
You confirm that you are a person sharing sincerely, that you have the right to post what you write, and that your share does not violate anyone’s rights or applicable law. You use this site at your own discretion.
To keep the wall gentle and usable, we limit how often shares can be submitted from a given connection. The site is offered as-is; we do not promise uninterrupted access.
This site links to outside pages (for example, scripture and optional giving through PayPal). Those services have their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for them.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

We built But God Loves Me to receive honest words—not to profile visitors. This policy describes what little data the site handles and why.
When you share, we store the text you write, the closing line you selected, and a timestamp. That share is shown publicly on the site. Please do not include identifying information in your text.
To prevent abuse, our server records a one-way hash of your connection address when you request a share token or submit text. We use that hash—not your raw address—for rate limiting and duplicate detection. We also log basic request metadata needed to operate the service securely.
Your browser may store preferences locally (for example, your chosen ending line, slideshow order, and the time of your last share) using local storage. That information stays on your device unless you clear it.
We load typefaces from Google Fonts. If you follow external links (such as scripture references or the optional donate button), those sites may collect data under their own policies. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Public shares are kept while the site operates, subject to storage limits and moderation. Rate-limit records expire on a rolling basis and are not kept as a permanent history of visitors.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You can clear local storage in your browser settings. Because shares are displayed anonymously, we cannot reliably tie a public entry back to an individual for deletion requests; please share carefully.
